Helping you push back the darkness of hunger insecurity in Kentucky and around the world!

Hunger Awareness Day -  allows children’s groups statewide to create awareness and fight hunger on the same day. Join with children across Kentucky in service to others. 

On Hunger Awareness Day, girls and boys can learn to serve the hungry in their own communities by getting involved in projects that help the hungry locally. They can also serve the hungry of the world by participating in 5Ks or bike-a-thons to raise money for Global Hunger Relief® or farm animals for Send Relief®.

​By serving the hungry, children learn that they are serving Christ. Use this planning guide to help you plan your project during the month of October.
