KENTUCKY CHANGERS offers more than just a weeklong mission trip; we want to provide tools and training that equip your students for a lifetime of missional living. Participants engage in construction projects, times of worship and reflection designed to help them encounter and respond to God.

KENTUCKY CHANGERS will offer the following mission project weeks in 2023. We look forward to partnering with you to mobilize students to live the gospel throughout the Commonwealth. ​

It is a Kentucky Changers requirement that adult chaperons accompany student groups. There must be one adult for every five student participants of the same gender. The adults at Kentucky Changers projects are participants in every sense of the word. We ask the adults to work with us, worship with us, as well as eat, sleep, and shower just like youth participants. Adults fulfill extra responsibilities by helping with encouragement, transportation, discipline and logistics. Their support will be invaluable to you as a group leader! 
What does a typical day at CHANGERS look like? Here is a sample schedule; however, the Changers Leadership may adjust the schedule as needed. An updated schedule will be provided at Changers with any schedule changes. Please download the below schedule for an idea of what a week may look like.

Cost per participant $209 ($235 after April 15)
  • DEPOSITS: $100 deposit, per participant, is due at the time of registration. Deposits are non-refundable
    • If you pay your balance by May 1, unused deposits may be applied to your balance.  After May 1st, unused deposits will not be refunded but can be applied to the fee of a substituted participant.
    • Once your deposit is received, Kentucky WMU will send a confirmation email and an invoice for your remaining balance.

Through KENTUCKY CHANGERS we hope to cultivate a love for missions and ministry in the lives of our participants that goes beyond a week-long mission experience. As a partner with KENTUCKY CHANGERS, your financial gifts can help make this happen. 

KENTUCKY CHANGERS relies on the generosity of church and individuals to maintain and increase our ministry of mobilizing students for "hands-on" missions opportunities. Your gifts to KENTUCKY CHANGERS help keep student participant costs down. All gifts to KENTUCKY CHANGERS via the Kentucky WMU are tax deductible, according to IRS guidelines.

As a Church - When you give to the Eliza Broadus Offering for State Missions, you help support the hosting associations with the funds to purchase building materials and resources needed for each construction project. You can promote giving to the Eliza Broadus Offering throughout the year.

Through Scholarships - Have you been blessed by Changers over their years? Consider giving to the scholarship fund to help students in need attend Changers.

Student Ministry Team Members
Kentucky Changers has a ministry team of 4-6 young adults every year to work each project. The team helps set up at each project as well as provide other behind-the-scenes work. The ministry team also mentors younger participants as they work on projects, worship, and have free time.

​We need adult team members (formerly referred to as “volunteers”) on all the week-long summer projects. If you are 21 years-old or older, and have skills in construction, we need your help! By giving just one week of your summer, you can make a difference in the lives of students and homeowners in Kentucky.
