EMPOWERING ASSOCIATIONAL LEADERSMissions involvement provides numerous benefits: an increase in the numbers of persons who are birthed into the kingdom, support for the work of missionaries, and enrichment to the lives of those who join us. It is a delight to know that God calls and allows us to join Him in the grand enterprise of winning the world to Christ.
Whatever your role in Associational work, we want you to have the tools to engage in missions through WMU. Click on your role below to learn more... Associational WMU Leaders
Associational/Network WMU leaders are critical links in the task of igniting and renewing a passion for missions in local Baptist Churches. We are grateful that you have committed yourself to passing on your love for missions through your service to God as an associational WMU Leader. We value your dedication, expertise, and experience. Below you will find helpful information to help engage, equip and empower you in your service to God. Please use this page to download resources, access helpful information, and update your contact information. Don't forget to follow the calendar for our upcoming events. Associational/Network mission Strategists
Associations are the heartbeat of your area churches. As an Associational/Network Mission Strategist we understand your responsibilities go far beyond planning, promoting, and implementing the association's vision of serving churches. In most cases you are the lead encourager to pastors and church leaders in your association. You also play a vital role in engaging and challenging your churches to fulfill the Great Commission.
WMU has provided resources to help you engage your churches in missions. The resource sheet below gives you helpful information for the Weeks of Prayer, missions materials, and EBO grant forms and deadlines. Download this resource sheet and keep for your files. Leadership Training for Associational WMU
Leadwell
A gathering designed for both Associational/Network WMU leadership teams and Local Church WMU Leadership teams. We two training locations each year, one in the West in May, and in the East in August. This event provides worship, personal leadership training, age-level updates, positional breakouts, a time for fellowship, and leadership refreshment. We also hear from Kentucky MSC Missionaries and enjoy a "show and tell" type of exhibit area from local ministries. Make plans to bring your team. |
