From the Field Segment

You will have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and rewards of missionary work from experienced missionaries (or church planters) who have served (or are currently serving) in Kentucky, with the North American Mission Board (NAMB), and the International Mission Board (IMB). As they offer practical advice and relate stories from their own experiences on the field, your discussion may broach a variety of topics including (but not limited to) cross-cultural communication, community outreach, evangelism, and discipleship. As you ask questions and engage in meaningful discussions with the missionaries and fellow group members, you will deepen your understanding of missions and gain practical skills that are applicable to your own ministry. Whether you are already involved in missionary work or simply curious about what it entails, these rapid-fire small group sessions are sure to be a valuable and enriching experience.
