Gathering with purpose to become intentional learners of God’s Word
Book clubs give us spaces as intentional learners of Jesus to not only read more but also read better. Through group conversation, participants can examine the text through multiple angles, helping us gain new perspective and deeper understanding than when we read on our own.
Each quarter, KentuckyWMU will reveal their quarterly focus book and provide a downloadable guide complete with questions and culminating activities perfect for any group!

Announcement
On our Facebook & Instagram, we will release the title of our current book. Once released on socials, we will post the book here on our website alongside a thoughtfully compiled discussion guide.
Reading Schedule
We'll provide a suggested flow of chapters per book club meeting based on the way we’ve arranged discussion questions. Feel free to alter the schedule to better suit the needs of your group.
Group Activities
Offered at the end of the discussion guide, we've provided interactive activities designed to enhance your meetings. Feel free to use as few or many as you want to better suit the needs of your group.
About our Pick
Each Discussion guide will have information about the book and author, provided so you'll know enough information prior to starting your group.
Discussion Questions
Arranged by weekly meeting, these questions are designed to spark, not curtail, discussion in your group. As a leader, feel free to add or remove questions in order to strengthen group discussion.
Promotion
We've included additional resources to promote or make better use of your book. This includes a blank "book review" worksheet designed to help you and your group make sense of what you're reading. It’s meant to spark discussions by encouraging everyone to jot down their thoughts. As a leader, you can also use it to check in on how your members are doing spiritually. Additionally you'll have a 8.5x11 poster and half-page bulletin inserts designed to help you promote your book in your church/ community. Simply fill in the blank meeting info and they are ready to use!
Designed to help you launch your book club from idea to action, this guide answers questions like, "How do I start a book Club?" , "Who Should I invite?", "What would meetings look like?", and even "Should there be snacks?" (Spoiler alert: the answer to the last question is yes).
