For years, KentuckyWMU has facilitated mission trip opportunities designed to expand your witness to people and places across our state, our nation, and even around the world. To better help you get involved, we've brought them together under the umbrella of "Go Trips."
Go Trips are comprised of Go Teams. 1 or more different Go Teams may comprise a single Go Trip. In other words, the trips are the location and the teams are the people.
At KentuckyWMU, we believe that it is our responsibility to offer opportunities for Kentuckians to make Disciples of Jesus who live on Mission. However, we also understand that that Great Commission can be a daunting task. Through our Go Trips, we have taken the guesswork out of the experience.
Go Trips are designed for specific demographics. From Nextgen Women (ages 19-25) to Coed Adults (ages 18+), from families to Women and Girls (ages 12+) we tailor the scope of work for each team based on the gender, ages, and stages of participants.
We are better together. It is our goal to aid the work of current SBC and/or KBC Missions Entities already serving in any area we visit. KentuckyWMU arranges and maintains these partnerships for participants, thereby reducing individual paperwork while maximizing Kingdom Impact.
KentuckyWMU checks all site requirements, and organizes all projects/ activities to be completed on site. You just need to complete your checklist and show up!
From guest speakers to worship, from orientations to fun activities, KentuckyWMU packs an entire missions experience into your trip by leveraging its unique partnerships in your area.
For trips requiring public transit, air travel, etc, KentuckyWMU coordinates with you and other Team members to reduce cost and keep teams together.
From Kentucky to Israel, our Go Trips could take you anywhere for His glory. Because we have local, state, national, and even global partners, the possibilities are endless!
