Is Lunch Provided?
Discover: Please eat before you arrive! We have this evening jam packed, and would hate for you to miss anything if you're hungry.
Leadwell: Yes! A Boxed Lunch will be provided for all participants! By registering in advance for this FREE event it helps us know how much food to order!
How do I register?
In order to allow churches to register groups, our registration occurs in 2 phases.
Phase 1: Purchasing Tickets (or "spots")
- Click "Register Now" at the top of the event page.
- Select the number of people for whom you are registering for each ticket type (Discover or Leadwell). Discover registrants are automatically registered for Leadwell.
- Complete the Billing information.
- Click "Submit"
Phase 2: Inputting Information
- Under, create an account and answer event-specific questions, choose either "I'm attending" if you purchased the spot for yourself AND others or "Reassign my ticket" if you purchased the spot on someone else's behalf. Note: If you are ONLY purchasing on someone else's behalf and ARE NOT attending the event, SKIP to step 4.
- Enter email and click "Submit"
- Answer questions on screen as they appear. Click "Complete event Registration" Button
- Assign Additional tickets. Assign your extra tickets by clicking the "Assign" button on each ticket on your screen and entering the corresponding name and email address of the intended recipient(s). They will receive an email with instructions on how to accept the ticket and Complete their event registration(s). (They will begin this process by clicking the button in the email labeled "Claim your ticket")
- GROUP LEADERS: To track the progress of your group members registration, save the URL at the top of the page where you assigned your tickets. Each ticket will have a BLUE "assigned" label if they are incomplete or a GREEN "Completed" Label if they are complete.
Can New Leaders attend both Leadwell and Discover?
New and prospective leaders are not only welcome to attend both Leadwell and Discover, we would prefer it!!! At Discover, you'll dip your toes in the pool of Missions Leadership and explore what it could mean in your context. Then at Leadwell you'll receive not only training and tools targeted for your specific needs, but also the opportunity to network with seasoned leaders!
I'm a seasoned leader, but I'm worried I'll miss out on something if I don't attend Discover. What should I do?
Don't worry!
Discover is designed
- To introduce those who have never heard (or only vaguely heard) of WMU and Missions Discipleship to the organization.
- To explore the Structure of Missions Discipleship Groups available to them.
- To familiarize age-level leaders with the basics of groups like Girls in Action, Youth On Mission, Missions4Men etc.
Unless, you're teaching an age-level group you've never taught before, bringing a shy mentee, or new to the state of Kentucky, seasoned leaders won't miss a thing!
