PLUG-IN MISSIONS ED: CHAPLAINCY
A chaplain often is defined as a cleric who serves a specific, and usually secular, organization or group. Some boys and girls may not be familiar with chaplaincy until you mention that the local police department, fire department, hospital, or other group has a chaplain, and their pastor or a church minister may be the one serving in that role. WMU's e4 series* on chaplaincy can help you teach children about this special ministry, and introduce them to some of the thousands of Baptist chaplains serving around the world.
