Giving to missions is providing the financial support needed for missions work being conducted by members of a church and through cooperative missions giving efforts with other churches and missions entities, which embraces the biblical concept of giving and cooperative giving. Financial support of missions is enhanced through learning about missions, praying for missions, and engaging in missions.
We have numerous opportunities for you to provide support in the areas that you feel God calling you to be a part of such as: supporting the day-to-day operations of Kentucky WMU, contributing to the various Kentucky Baptists missions and ministries that touch lives around the state, helping send students to college through scholarships, or supporting the ministries of Kentucky WMU.

The Ministries to Missionaries Offering is a special offering taken at the Kentucky WMU Annual Meeting and other WMU Events. This offering provides care to missionaries through; Christmas gifts, travel scholarships for MKs to the IMB MK ReEntry Retreat, special gifts for new appointed missionaries, and resources for the Missionary Parents Fellowship. Each state or regional WMU has it's own TTT endowment, which finanically support the ministries activities of the state office. When you give to the Kentucky WMU Touch Tomorrow Today you are supporting missions in your own backyard. Your TTT gift also supports WMU ministries as well as the work of the national WMU Foundation. Do you simply want to give to WMU? Kentucky WMU has a "general funds" giving opportunity that allows you to designate where you would like to apply your gift. You can give in honor of a faithful WMUer, towards a current ministry, for special activities, or towards ministry operations. Whatever you choose, we are appreciative of your sacrificial gift. |
