Exalt
Exalt 2010Exalt 2010 was held April 16-17 at Georgetown College. Exalt is for teenaged girls in grades 7-12. The theme was "Scarred Warrior". We all experience wounds from time to time in the battles we face. Fortunately, we have a Savior who "was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed (Isaiah 53:5)." Simply put: Life hurts, Christ heals! Gayla Parker, author of Connections, was our speaker and helped us examine these truths. Bo Warren led worship and did a great job. The world is coming to the Kentucky Horse Park for the World Equestrian Games in 2010. Affliliated International Ministries (AIM) is the organization who will minister during the games to the 300,000 people who are coming. Pat Day is working with AIM. He joind us on Saturday morning to share his testimony and get us excited about welcoming the world. Then, Exalt headed to the Horse Park on Saturday afternoon. The young ladies of Exalt were be the first AIM volunteers to help at the Horse Park. We wiped down the seats in the outdoor arena while praying for those who will sit in the seats. The officials from the Horse Park were very thankful for the help. Check out all the pictures on the Kentucky Acteens Facebook page.
