Youth
WMU provides opportunites for youth to actively grow in their faith through involvement in missions within two organizations:
Acteens is for girls aged 12-17 or in grades 7-12. Specifically designed for the needs of teenage girls, Acteens is an opportunity to grow in understanding of God, self, and others. Kentucky has almost 300 Acteens groups.
Youth on Mission is the co-ed missions organization for all youth aged 12-17 or in grades 7-12. Youth grow together in their understanding of missions and their role in the Great Commission. There are more than 300 groups in Kentucky!
Kentucky WMU sponsors events throughout the year to encourage this growth. Youth do not have to be members of Acteens or Youth on Mission to particitpate.

Congratulations Kentucky Acteens! Two Kentucky Acteens have been named to the National Acteens Advisory Panel. They are Brandie Hagerman of Hartford (Living Faith Baptist) and Savannah Hines from Sonora (South Fork Baptist). Six young women from across the country are given this honor each year. We are very excited that we have two representatives on the panel this year. In addition, three girls were named "Top Teens". Bethany Bargo of Barbourville, Lynzie Gray of Harrodsburg, and Kayla Tomlin of Whitesville. Only 10 girls were named Top Teens; therefore, this is another great honor.
