Change a Life...Change the World

Welcome to Kentucky WMU!

WMU challenges Christian believers to understand and be radically involved in the mission of God.  Kentucky WMU equips women, men, girls and boys to change a life and change the world.

We were thrilled with the attendance at the National WMU Missions Celebration.  Click here for an update and here to see a video.

World Missions Unlimited, our summer training for WMU and Baptist Men on Mission leaders will be July 17-18 in Winchester and July 24-25 in Madisonville.  There will be conferences for both association and church leaders, as well as a special conference for pastors led by Steve Thompson, Assistant Executive Director of the KBC.  You can also learn about learn about the special plans for "Find It Here," the largest simultaneous, statewide evangelism effort ever attempted in Kentucky.

Thank you, Kentucky Baptists!  The 2008-09 Eliza Broadus Offering for state missions has already reached the goal of $1,077,242.   Will we surpass last year's record giving of $1,105,721.92?  Gifts for the 2008-09 Eliza Broadus Offering will be received through August 31, 2009. Overage funds will be used for evangelism in Kentucky.

2009 State Missions materials will be mailed to churches in mid-July.  Our theme is "It's Harvest Time" and focuses on the tremendous opportunities to share Christ through equestrian ministries, ministries to released offenders, and "Find It Here."  2009 materials are also posted on our State Missions page.  Our 2009-10 Eliza Broadus Offering goal is $1,100,000!

PhilanthroByte: Do you have a will? Without a will, the state decides how your assets will be distributed. And the state will not make any contributions to your church, missions, or WMU. Christian estate planning information is just a click away
